Coastal Geomatics

CPE's Coastal Geomatics professionals integrate acquisition, modeling, analysis, and management of spatially referenced data using terrestrial, marine, airborne, and satellite-based sensors to acquire spatial and other data. Spatially referenced data can be transformed from different sources into common GIS information systems with well-defined accuracy characteristics.

The CPE Coastal Geomatics Department includes both terrestrial and marine survey crews with the capacity to conduct multiple survey projects simultaneously. CPE owns and maintains a full suite of high grade survey, GPS, RTK, Heave compensators and hydrographic gear that allows for a rapid response in emergency post-storm surveys and other emergency survey needs. CPE also maintains a fleet of survey vessels ranging from 13 feet to 28 feet.
