CPE geophysicists and geologists are experts in the use of remote sensing techniques for the purposes of marine geophysical data collection, processing, and interpretation. CPE has performed geophysical surveys for a variety of purposes including marine sand source identification, cable and pipeline corridor mapping, artificial reef site selection, cultural resource mapping and submerged debris location. The company owns and operates an entire suite of geophysical remote sensing instruments including sidescan sonars, "chirp" sub-bottom seismic-reflection profilers, magnetometers and survey grade fathometers as well as survey vessels which allows field teams to mobilize and respond to project locations quickly and efficiently.
