CMEC Accredited Lab
Coastal Planning & Engineering, Inc. (CPE) strives to provide our clients with accurate, reliable and timely results. To meet these goals the Geotechnical Laboratory adheres to the appropriate American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards and utilizes a thorough quality control system for data entry and report preparation. The management team is continually reviewing procedures in order to improve services at a reduced cost to our customers.
To increase accountability, the Geotechnical Laboratory maintains a Construction Materials and Engineering Council (CMEC) accreditation. This accreditation acknowledges that the lab maintains equipment, records and testing procedures to ASSHTO R18 standards. For quality assurance, the lab is enrolled in annual proficiency testing through CMEC.
