Dune Restoration
In locations where nearshore hardbottom resources are determined by the regulatory agencies to be of significant value, beach nourishment may not be a permittable option. In such cases, CPE has been very successful in permitting dune restoration projects to provide some level of storm protection for upland structures. CPE has also constructed numerous dune restoration projects as emergency response measures as these projects can be rapidly permitted and constructed. If maintained through regular replenishments, dune restoration can also begin to improve the recreational beach.
