Wetland Delineation
CPE biologists are professionally trained in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' protocol for jurisdictional wetland delineation, and are intimately familiar with coastal wetland systems and habitats. We have the experience to perform a wide range of wetland services including evaluation and delineation for the purposes of permitting, mitigation, and restoration. Our biologists have designed and monitored the transplantation of seagrasses, as well as mitigation for mangrove, dune and salt marsh habitats. The MSBR team is also professionally trained in Uniform Mitigation Assessment Method (UMAM) and is adept at using this procedure in conjunction with the permitting process in order to aid the client in designing a project that successfully avoids and minimizes impacts to the environment or provides appropriate mitigation for unavoidable impacts. CPE's multiple coastal office locations enable us to provide rapid response and on-the-ground assessment in cases where unexpected environmental impacts have occurred.
