NEPA Document Preparation
In support of the permitting process and agency decision-making, CPE biologists have been professionally trained in the implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Our team has extensive experience in preparing NEPA documents including Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and Environmental Assessments (EA), as well as supporting documentation such as Biological Assessments (BA) and Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) assessments. We strive to maintain an open line of communication and coordination with regulatory agencies throughout the NEPA process to ensure all pertinent information is included in the assessment as well as to aid in the timely completion of these documents. CPE biologists have even assisted the US Fish and Wildlife Service in the preparation of draft Biological Opinions(BO). This provides a distinct advantage for our clients in expediting the permitting process.
