January 2005
The tug and barge docked at City Marina dock, Panama City, during the night.
The drilling barge departed the dock at 6:30am. Due to sea conditions (waves
were 3 to 5 ft high), no coring was conducted on the offshore borrow areas.
A core was collected within St Andrews Pass, but during recovery, a leg on
the coring unit was twisted and damaged. This twisting was caused by the
strong in coming tide. The barge returned to the dock to repair the coring
frame.
