30 March 2005
CPE geologists and survey crew departed the UNC-Wilmington Center for Marine Science at 5:40 a.m. onboard the R/V Cape Fear for the geotechnical survey for the North Topsail Beach Renourishment Project. The vessel arrived in the general project area at 8:20 a.m. and deployed the Edgetech 521i Chirp Sub-bottom Profiler and the Edgetech 4200 FS Sidescan Sonar. We completed 23.0 trackline miles over six (6) reconnaissance lines. The survey equipment was retrieved by 6:00 p.m., when we departed for UNC-Wilmington dock, arriving at 8:30 p.m.

29 March 2005
CPE geologist began mobbing the RV Cape Fear at 9:00 a.m. and set a tide gauge on North Topsail Beach Pier (Topsail Island), North Carolina, for the geotechnical survey for the North Topsail Beach Renourishment Project. The planned departure for survey is at 5:00 a.m. on 30 March.

28 March 2005
CPE geologists departed Boca Raton at 9:30 a.m. for UNC-W Marine Center in Wilmington, North Carolina, and arrived at 11:00 p.m.
